The day of double firsts!

tee hee...little man sits up a little (with bright blue socks).

So today Sander giggled and laughed for the first time. A lot! He completely surprised me. Lucy and I were counting to ten with him and moving his arms around in a silly way and he just laughed with us suddenly. It was so wonderful. We played this game for about five minutes and then he tired of it.

...and then he takes his usual position.

Sander loves to lay on his tummy. I laid him down briefly tonight on his belly to help Lucy in the other room, came back and there he was on his back. Another surprise! So now he can roll from back to front and from front to back at NINE WEEKS. I think we are in trouble. Someone is quite strong.

Playing with a wooden rattle and holding on really well.

....and completely captivated by Mr. Owl who hangs above. This went on for quite awhile.
Sometimes he smiled other times he squirmed and kicked a ton. Too cute.
